Our Story
In a world of endless scrolling, we managed to find each other online—despite living only 12 miles apart our entire lives. I decided to make my move by offering to edit a football photo for MJ. Now, for the record: Was I a professional editor? NO. Did I even know how to use Photoshop? Also NO. It was 100% a bait and switch to get MJ’s attention. Apparently, the ‘service’ worked. We traded numbers and planned a quick meeting at Taylorsville Park, which Mother Nature decided to turn into a romantic comedy scene by drenching us in a sudden downpour. After a rainy afternoon and a ride home, we’ve been inseparable ever since. I still haven’t delivered those edited photos, but I think the wedding is a pretty fair trade-off!

The Wedding
The wedding will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at The Venue at The Bakery Building. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by a cocktail hour and reception to continue the celebration.

Frequently Asked Questions
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm. Guest seating will start at 3:30 pm. Please aim to arrive no later than 3:45 pm before the ceremony begins to allow for seating and getting settled. We also recommend considering traffic and travel time to ensure you do not miss any part of the celebration. Any late guest, will have to stand outside the ceremony until it is complete. We look forward to seeing you there!
When do I need to RSVP?
Please RSVP no later than August 14, 2026. Because we must provide our vendors with a final guest count, our wedding platform will automatically mark any unconfirmed guests as “not attending” after this date. We would love to celebrate with you, so please be sure to let us know by the deadline!
Can I bring a date?
Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate for every plus-ones due to limited space. There will be limited plus-ones sent out exclusively. We appreciate your understanding, and we are excited to celebrate with you! NO EXTRA GUEST!
Are children welcome?
While we love your little ones, we have decided to host an adults-only ceremony and reception. We hope this allows you to enjoy a well-deserved night off and celebrate fully with us!
Can I take pictures?
We are having an unplugged ceremony. We invite you to be fully present with us and kindly ask that all phones and cameras remain off until we are announced as husband and wife. We have hired an amazing professional team to capture these moments and promise to share the photos with you later. Once the ceremony concludes, feel free to take as many photos as you’d like during the cocktail hour and reception.
Is there a dress code?
Yes! To help us bring our vision to life, we kindly request that our guests wear Formal attire in SHADES OF BROWN. We can’t wait to see everyone looking their best in our favorite earth tones.
Is parking available?
Yes, convenient parking is available directly across the street from the venue.
Will there be an open bar?
Absolutely! The bar will be open throughout the evening. We look forward to raising a glass with all of you.
Is there a gift registry?
Your prayers and presence are the greatest gifts we could receive. Should you wish to honor us with a gift, a monetary contribution toward our future together would be sincerely appreciated.
